Send money to a detained close relation
It is no longer possible to issue a warrant to a detained person.
Here is the procedure to follow to make a transfer to a relative in detention.

Contact the penitentiary by telephone and ask for the “Régie des comptes nominatifs”.

When making the transfer, indicate "Régie des comptes nominatifs" for the beneficiary and indicate the IBAN on the penitentiary's RIB.

Ask the "Régie des comptes nominatifs" for the penitentiary’s RIB.

In the area shown on the transfer order, indicate the prison number, surname and first name(s) of the beneficiary of the transfer (depending on the bank, this area may be titled "optional area", "reason", "description", "title of transfer", "message"...).
